Not a lot of excitement here at the Humke-Mengel abode. Today I cleaned house and loaded books on CD onto the iTunes so that I can listen to them on my iPod. Very, very exciting stuff… However, things started to get a little crazy around here come nightfall. First I gave Jiji a bath. She has allergies and gets flaky, nasty skin every now and then and now is one of those times. So, into the shower she went. You can imagine the fun that a very large wet and angry cat can inflect upon a person. So, since I was already wet and bloody, I figured that I would just give everyone that needed a bath a bath. So, into the shower went Meara the terror and finally Weezy when I went in to take my shower (one of the advantages to having small dogs). So, now I have three damp pets sitting near me very tired and rather angry at me. Milo was stalking about gloating over the fact that she didn’t get a bath. What she doesn’t know is that she gets her ears cleaned tonight!
