I am so stressed right now I can’t really write at all. So instead I will give you pictures to show what my life is like right now…
Malcolm's massive travel "carrier" with Belle and Jiji atop it.
A selection of the clay pots scrubbed and bleached ready to be packed.
The top landing of the house filled with bagged-up fleece and fiber and a little bit of bedding.
These little towers of catty-ness are all over the place. Technically I'm not "allowed" to pack but if it was already in something they said not to unpack it....
More fiber and bedding. I'm kinda afraid that one of these piles will have a fleeceslide and bury me!
And still no sweaters….

I like the “technically I’m not “allowed” to pack but if it was already in something they said not to unpack it….” This all looks like a reasonable home organization system to me.
Sending you good thoughts and energy and a moment for quiet meditation.
I haven’t even gotten the yarn down from the attic. It’s in big plastic tubs which are WAY to big for me to navigate down a ladder by myself!
Thanks for the well wishes. I had a bad morning but I went into town and got a sub and chilled out a little bit. Made a world of difference!
I felt tempted to promise to knit you a sweater… but realized I couldn’t do it in the time left. What a job packing a home is.
Go, drive to Leighton Buzzard, go to Room No. 7 (or 9 or whatever it is), get a nice beverage and some of their yummy carrot cake (it’s tdf), than go home, spin a bit and THEN pack some more! At least the packers will have a lot of nice fleeces to cushion your breakables with!
That is more or less what I did do! I realized that part of the reason that I was in such a mood was that I hadn’t eaten. When I got back a bunch of stuff magically cleared-up and I was instantly de-stressed!
If you need another break, I highly recommend getting the carrot cake before you leave!
